ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 2885 - CHAPTER 7: False campaign speech and online platform disclosures.
Purpose: Democratic agenda preventing voters from re-electing President Trump and/or voting for Republican candidates into CA Assembly/Senate, by threat of civil action under the guise of “False campaign speech” by ways of online platforms. AB-2035 Foster youth: sexual and reproductive education.(2019-2020) Purpose: Requires social workers to inform foster youth 10 yrs+ of rights to abortion and other reproductive care. SB 1004, as amended, Jackson. Confidentiality of Medical Information Act. Purpose: Allows minors to confidentially receive reproductive and transgender health services under their parents' insurance SB 24 - Reduction on Cost on ABORTIONS Purpose: Health care cost reductions for students in Universities by ways of chemical abortions, etc. AB 3300 - (Santiago) Homelessness: California Access to Housing and Services Act: Establishes the California Access to Housing Fund and appropriates $2 billion each year in to the fund to address homelessness. AB 1845 - (Luz Rivas) Office to End Homelessness: organizes a Governor’s Office to End Homelessness under the direction of the Secretary of Housing Insecurity and Homelessness. AB 2746 - (Gabriel) State Funding Accountability for Homelessness: requires that recipients of programs that address homelessness provide specified data to improve transparency and accountability. AB 3269 - (Chiu) State and local agencies: homelessness plan: creates the Office of the Housing and Homelessness Inspector General to create greater accountability for state and local actions to address homelessness, imposes new requirements on local governments to develop actionable plans address homelessness, and creates a public right of action for the Inspector General to compel compliance with those new plans, among other things. FEBRUARY 06, 2019 - Save Babies Born Alive! In recent weeks, lawmakers in New York and Virginia have crossed the line in advocating for infanticide. To protect babies who survive abortions, Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) has introduced the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. S. 130 would mandate that a medical professional provide healthcare to a baby who is born alive during an abortion attempt. JANUARY 24, 2019 - Sacramento, CA--The California Department of Education and the California State Board of Education (SBE) are in the process of revising the 2019 Health Education Curriculum Framework for California Public Schools. This Health Education Framework serves as a guideline for implementing the content standards adopted by the SBE for health education curriculum. The final draft of the Framework will be adopted in May 2019. Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) will attend a public rally at the State Capitol on Friday, January 25, to protest the Health Education Framework for California Public Schools. JANUARY 23, 2019 - This week, the Senate plans to pass "The End the Shutdown and Secure the Border Act" which not only grants amnesty to illegal immigrants, but does not allow President Trump to build the wall using the new steel wall prototype that he has chosen to best protect the border. Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is strongly in favor of this proposal and is gathering votes at this moment. We must let our Senators know that the American people do not want to trade the border wall for amnesty!
